A large sofa of the Indonesia colonial furniture handcrafted of teak solid wood. Curved outward large stiles ended with turning legs and cylindrical foot. Rattan wicker hexagonal strand caning pattern backrest and sides.

Beautiful yet sturdy large sofa

The sofa frame made in a thick and large size. All four stiles curved outward and scrolling at the top rails. Wide and thick plain solid wood rails connected four stiles at the top most, the seat rails decorated with bead molding edge.

Our craftsman hand caning the seat, backrest, and sides of the chair with the hole- to-hole strand caning. The most durable hexagonal pattern rattan wicker.

Teak wood frames loose cushion

The sofa frame made of teak solid wood harvested from state-owned timber plantation. We select the best grade, straight wood grains, and uniform color teak timber for our furniture products.

Our builder assembled the sofa frame with time-tested traditional wood furniture construction.

Tenon joint rails connected to mortise on the stiles, glued, and fastened with dowel. We use corner block to reinforce the chair seat.

A loose cushion made of high-density foam covered with quality fabric included with the sofa for comfort.

We use plantation harvested teak wood to build the Colonial teak rattan sofa.

Kiln dried

The teak wood is kiln dried into 12% moisture contents (inside the kiln dry facility), may increase into 15 - 18% moisture contents while we working on it.
